Content Warnings
Inclusivity is not only about who you let into a space, but about how welcoming you make that space feel. To that end, we use an innovative Content Warnings system to warn readers of material you might not be prepared or willing to read, so that you have the tools to use our site in ways that feel safest for you. These warnings are attached to the headline of any article we think might need it, using a short acronym. Below are the meanings of each acronym.

This article contains descriptions of suicide, eating disorders, substance abuse, or other forms of self harm.
